Lipstick tag!

1. When you were a child, did you use your mother's lipsticks?

I didnt use her lipstick but she used them on me to give me bright red lips and rosey cheeks for photos as i was dressed in her oversized jewelry and clothes.


2. How old were you when you bought your first lipstick?

Hmm maybe around 16 it was a jordana lipstick which was blue with blue glitter. LOL i thought it was the greatest thing in the world boy was i a novice i wore it all the time.


3. Pink or red lipstick?

PINK


4. The most expensive lipstick you have ever bought?

Nars Jungle red. Love mattes and this one is great


5. And the cheapest?

Wet and Wild they do have some for 99 cents although i have been known to dig through a bargain bin to find some off brand for 25 cents.


6. What's the most bizarre thing you have ever done with a lipstick?

Tried to use it as an eyeshadow base, yeah that was a no go


7. If you had to recommend a lipstick, which brand would you recommend and why?

I recently discovered the new wet and wild color icon? lipsticks i mean for only 2.99 they have great pigmentation and variety plus its easily accessible at most drugstores.

BOGO on Wet & Wild cosmetics

This week Riteaid pharmacy has buy one get one on wet & wild products sale ends saturday. I had a prescription to drop off and while waiting decided to browse the makeup aisle and much to my surprise there was a bogo sale. Here is my haul. They had a black radiance kit on clearance for 2.49 and a NYC matte bronzer for 99 cents. Ladies check out the clearance section whenever in riteaid i always seem to find good deals there.

Everything i purchased total of $10 bucks and change :)

Black radiance mineralized set blush in warm berry and baked shadow in rum spice

Pencil swatches 3 eye pencils in mink brown, deep blue, charcoal lip pencil in fab fuschia

(pencils are very creamy)

Lipsticks in Just peachy, Mauve outta here (goes great with fab fuschia l/l)

Love these lipsticks they are pigmented and applies well



Birchbox May package

So i noticed this new service called birchbox where for 10 bucks per month they send you a mystery box of sample beauty products. I learned of this from youtube and some other blogs. Neon trends anyone?

I think i might have one thing in my closet thats neon and its a neon pink sheer blouse that i bought a while ago and have never worn. ANytime i pair it with a black skirt I say to myself this is toooo loud. It was interesting seeing this pic and how they add neon and neutrals together. I really love the trench with the skinny neon belt. Anyone for neons? Its not all about the 80's LOL.

My Cruise Photos

My family and i took a cruise for spring break and we had the most amazing time wish it would never end. LOL. We visited Mexico, Grand Cayman, Roatan and Belize. There was lots of sun I actually got sunburned bad after falling asleep outside it was so relaxing and nice to get away. The food and views were amazing. Here are some pics of myself and some views. Loreal Crayon Grande Lipcolour Pencils

So I was in my local Dollar Tree and stopped by the beauty aisle and to my surprise these awesome pencils were there. I had some of the colourjuice gloss sticks in the pass and i loved them so i decided to pick some of these lipcolours up. I mean for only one buck why not. They had about 12 colors to choose from and here are the ones i picked up.

These are very pigmented thick intense lipcolours. Very rich in formulation and definately will be part of my routine. If you ever see them try them.

Shell - pink milky color
Port - Deep wine color
Suede - neutral flesh tone
French roast - chocolate brown
Sherry - semi metallic copper color
Violet - Deep purple ( reminds me of violetta l/s)
Cayenne - Midtone Orange almost rust like
